Program Description:

The Certificate in Science for Educators program provides K-12 educators with practical knowledge of theories, science content and instructional methods for teaching science. This certificate program, which is co-sponsored by the Inland Area Science Project, has been designed in response to recommendations from state and national educational groups for more effective science instruction to meet the changing needs of teachers and students.

The certificate program offers three emphases:
