Program Description:

Throughout California, many school districts are developing dual immersion programs to assist both language minority and language majority students in the same classroom. The goals are to help students attain challenging, age-appropriate academic skills and knowledge, advanced levels of functional proficiency in English and another language, and an understanding and appreciation of cross-cultural differences.
