Program Description:

The Berkeley Master of Engineering Program prepares graduates for managerial and executive positions in technology-intensive industries as well as entrepreneurial ventures. The curriculum is based on the T-model for engineering leadership education, with instruction vertically supported by in-depth technical expertise yet stretching broadly to include core business concepts. All courses are taught at Berkeley by top engineering faculty and guest lecturers with industry experience. Students in the program form a closely knit cohort, working in teams to complete capstone projects that tackle real-world industry challenges. Their professional networks are reinforced through career advising, access to industry connections and other services. The program awards the master of engineering (M.Eng.) degree and can be completed in one year. College seniors and early-career technical professionals are encouraged to apply.
