Program Description:

The Education Department at Dominican University of California offers a Master of Science in Education and four teacher preparation programs: Multiple Subject, Single Subject, Education Specialist and Dual (Education Specialist plus either Multiple Subject or Single Subject). Our highly successful teacher education program is recognized for its comprehensive and innovative training, small classes, individualized attention and a supportive learning community. We are approved by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing to prepare and recommend candidates for their teaching credentials. Dominican graduates are student-centered educators who use a wide variety of instructional strategies to meet the needs of California's diverse school-age population.
