Program Description:

The Masters of Fine Art in Creative Writing allows you to balance academic coursework in English with the study of creative writing. Students participate in writing workshops in fiction and poetry, undertake coursework in literary periods and types, and study critical theory. MFA candidates also present an MFA thesis: a minimum of 30 poems or 5 short stories of at least 60 pages, 5 essays of at least 60 pages or 80 pages of a novel or memoir.
