Since 1971, National University has been dedicated to meeting the needs of hard-working adults by providing accessible, affordable, and achievable higher education opportunities. Founded by retired U.S. Navy Capt. David Chigos, we now educate to grow and change, but our commitment to our values remains constant. National University’s values include:

Admissions
Application for NU programs can be completed online, and an application is valid for one year. Generally, students complete the admissions process and begin their first course within 30 days, and NU accepts students on a continual basis.
International Transcripts: If English is the second language of a student, an official score demonstrating English proficiency is required for admission.
Military Transcripts: NU provides special assistance in obtaining transcripts for U.S. military students.
Program Requirements: Each of National University’s online degree programs and non-degree programs have their own admissions requirements. For example, admission to online MBA programs is based on direct entry which means that individuals with a previously completed bachelor’s degree in business from a regionally or nationally accredited academic institution may immediately begin the NU MBA program.
