The University of Southampton MBA full time course will give you the tools, knowledge and confidence to challenge conventional thinking and succeed in today’s fast-moving business world by standing out, not blending in.
The full-time MBA Master of Business Administration is designed for graduates who have at least four years, but probably more, of relevant work experience since graduation and who now wish to pursue a challenging programme of study to develop their managerial potential.
On the MBA, you must expect to work with ideas and concepts that are complex and that need real intellectual effort to master fully. In return you will receive an education that prepares you for a career as a skilled and reflective manager. Our MBA Master of Business Administration is neither a crash course in business buzz-words nor a catalogue of quick fix solutions. Your personal learning is enhanced by putting theoretical concepts into the context of your own experience.
The Southampton MBA Master of Business Administration welcomes participants that are looking for a challenge; are keen to question and debate ideas with other bright and similarly motivated managers; and seek an all round management education and development exercise.
During your year of study, you will take part in a week-long residential module, European Business Context, which takes you to Maastricht, The Netherlands. During your time in Maastricht you will take part in lectures and seminars by practitioners and academics from across the region, as well as visit up to five companies.
Studying for the Southampton MBA Master of Business Administration will also give you the chance to meet and network with other future business leaders from around the world. You will make friends and contacts for life.
