M.A.-Global Politics and Law
Many of the crucial issues and problems of our time are confronted at a global or international level, where policies and laws to address them are shaped in a variety of institutions. Security, human rights, the environment, trade and the economy are just some of the key areas where global politics and international law have a significant impact.
This exciting new joint programme offers you the opportunity to study at a prestigious institution, undertake a flexible programme of study, and participate in seminars and other activities held by experts from both the UK and abroad.
The programme is designed for graduates who already have some knowledge of law, international law or politics and wish to deepen their understanding of selected issues, or who wish to transfer into this area from related disciplines (for example History, Economics, Philosophy).
Designed to critically investigate an exciting interdisciplinary area between law and politics, the programme is centred on the theme of internationalism. You will be encouraged to take intellectual risks and utilise the academic resources of both disciplines. The range of options available will allow you to explore your own particular concerns and interests in this area.
