The MSc(Eng) in Transport Planning and Engineering - Master
For career training, two postgraduate programs of advanced study are offered. The MSc(Eng) in Transport Planning and Engineering is run in association with the Department of Civil Engineering. The MA in Transport Economics is run in association with the School of Business and Economic Studies.For research training, leading to the MSc, MPhil or PhD research degrees, the Institute provides an active research and training environment which helps the student to focus on the relevant issues, and to target on completing the thesis within the desired 2 or 3 years respectively.For in-career training, many take the full MSc(Eng) or MA course (often part-time over two years).Alternatively the `core' part of the MSc (Eng) program can be taken as a 4-month course leading to a Certificate in Transport Planning and Engineering; or some options can be taken as a 4-month course leading to an Advanced Certificate in Transport Planning and Engineering.
