Program Description:

The MA Health Management, Planning and Policy is a full-time course over 12 months that provides a multi-disciplinary, critically analytical and practice-based approach to the main challenges and issues in management, planning and policy which face the providers of health and health-related services in low to middle income countries. The programme focuses on the challenges arising from the local context of Africa, Asia, Latin America and areas of the Middle East. One of the key features of this programme is the opportunity to participate in a one-week fieldtrip to Geneva, Switzerland. This includes workshops and meetings with World Health Organization staff, a visit to the United Nations and the Red Cross offices and various NGOs. The visit takes place in the University Easter vacation.
