Incorporating titles in: Electronic Product Design, Electronic Product Manufacture, Electronics TechnologyManagement, Product Innovation Management. This course has been designed to meet the needs of theelectronics industry. Modern electronic companies need engineers who can respond quickly to changes intechnology and have a knowledge of modern electronic design, manufacturing and testing methods. The ability to manage new technology and to ensure high levels of product quality are the essentials skills that are required if companies wish to compete in world markets. This course will build upon the knowledge you have gained at undergraduate level and develop new skills that you will be able to apply in industry. It is an ideal course if you are a graduate and plan a career in manufacturing or if you are currently working in the engineering industry and wish to develop your knowledge and skills. The course incorporates an 18-week industrial placement if you are studying full-time and this could lead to job opportunities on completion of the course. You will also have the opportunity to complete industrial case studies and be involved in ‘live’ mini-projects. If you are a part-time student working in the electronics industry you may be able to relate yourmajor project to an aspect of your company’s work. Should you not wish to complete the full MSc programit is possible to gain a certificate or diploma.
