PG. Dip.- Psychological Therapy
The aims of the course are to promote the development and application of advanced clinical skills in psychological therapy. This is a continuing professional development course for health and social services professionals who have already gained initial counselling and therapy skills, and are using these skills in professional practice. The course provides high quality training to a standard recognised by the appropriate therapy accreditation bodies. There are two distinct routes to the diploma currently on offer: one for the practice of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT); and one for Cognitive Analytic Therapy (CAT).
