M.A. - International Business and Management
This challenging and rigorous course comprises a mix of taught modules, practical experience and research, providing the knowledge and skills necessary for entry into the global business environment, either as practising managers or researchers. Training in research methods forms an integral part of the course. This culminates in a dissertation - a substantial and original piece of research. A small group of students will be given the opportunity to spend up to 3 months in France as part of their programme.
During the first stage, students follow the MSc core modules. During the second stage, students study international business strategy, and select five specialist electives related to their interests, three of which must be within the remit of international business. By the end of this stage they will also have formulated their research (dissertation) proposal and started work on their dissertation. The final stage is devoted to the completion of the dissertation, during which students specialise in their chosen international business topic.
The University of Bradford is proud of its reputation for making students from other countries feel welcome. We start the moment you arrive, if not before. And we very much value the contribution that your experience can make to the University.
