This programme is designed for those with an academic background in Business Management who wish to acquire an in-depth and specialist knowledge of marketing with a view to starting (or continuing) a career in marketing. The programme will develop a sound understanding of marketing and extend existing knowledge, whether from previous study or practical experience.
This programme combines the academic theory of marketing with a practical perspective to ensure that its content is intellectually demanding whilst being related to the practical world of marketing.
Graduates of this scheme will have acquired a thorough understanding of business organisations, markets and customers, and an advanced knowledge of current marketing tools and techniques, marketing communications, market analysis and forecasting, and marketing research methods. Applicable to the marketing of all types of organisations, these will enhance employment prospects and enable an accelerated start to (or continuation of) career paths in marketing.
