Program Description:

The MA in Gender and Culture is an interdisciplinary scheme taught by gender specialists across the Arts and Humanities – in the subject areas of Classics and Ancient History, English, European Languages, History, Media Studies, and Political and Cultural Studies. The MA examines the production, reproduction and transformation of gender in culture and society. If you are interested in gender and gender relations in literature, culture, history, and society, like engaging in discussion and intellectual argument, and are excited about the idea of working within and across different subject areas, the MA is ideal for you. The degree is supported by the research activity of GENCAS, the Centre for Research into Gender in Culture and Society.
