Course aims To equip you with a sound knowledge and understanding of a range of topics in child and adolescent health; to use this to underpin your existing practical experience with evidence-based expertise and develop an appreciation of the strengths and limitations of research evidence and, at Masters stage, its application; to enable students to enhance their careers in the field of child and adolescent mental health. Course modules Course content includes: Certificate Mental Health and the Community Specific Mental Health Problems of Childhood and their Management Diploma The above plus: Research Methodology Training, Consultation, Supervision and Interagency Collaboration MSc All the above plus: Dissertation Teaching and assessment methods Teaching is through specially prepared course materials and other directed reading. On-line delivery of course materials and a virtual learning environment support teaching. Each module is assessed separately and there is a final Master’s dissertation.
