Program Description:

Professional Accountants can apply for entry in 2017 and can receive exemption from year 1 of study on this Masters from a University ranked 19th in the world (QS, 2016). This fully online masters will allow you to fit studies around your current employment and could contribute towards your CPD. This Masters focuses on the wider, non-technical aspects of accounting. On this Masters you will learn how accounting, the accounting profession, and various calculative practices impact on the management of governance  of organisations. The MSc focuses on 3 key strands: Accounting, Culture and Society, and The Accounting Profession.

International Student Requirements:

For 2017 entry: A professional accounting qualification equivalent to level 11 on the SCQF framework (or equivalent framework) and holding current membership of an internationally recognised professional accounting organisation which is associated with IFAC (International Federation of Accountants). There are also English language requirements if you are not a national from a majority English speaking country such as: IELTS score of 7.0 (with no score lower than 6.0 in each section), or TOEFL iBT 100 (with scores no lower than 20 in each section).
