The Division of Radiography is committed to meeting the needs of the health service and clinicians for high quality, clinically relevant, post registration education for radiographers and other health professionals within a dynamic and evolving healthcare environment. The part-time PgC in Digital Imaging programme provides a vocational pathway of study relevant to contemporary Imaging practice. It is designed to support healthcare professionals develop the knowledge, understanding and theoretical skills in Digital Imaging that are required for a professional who aspires to play a leading role in optimising digital imaging service provision.
The programme is delivered by the Division of Radiography academic team in partnership with clinical and scientific experts working within specialised areas of Nuclear Medicine to ensure the curriculum remains appropriately diverse and clinically relevant. This PgC in Digital Imaging is a modular pathway encompassing both the theoretical knowledge and clinical application of Digital Imaging technology. Upon successful completion of the Postgraduate Certificate pathway, students can continue their studies by registering for additional modules from the Medical Imaging module portfolio, to obtain a postgraduate Diploma or Masters degree.
