Program Description:

This programme aims to provide you with the knowledge and skills to move into or enhance a career in galleries or art museums. It offers a fast-track route to a professional qualification and is amongst the most successful art museum and gallery studies programmes in the UK. It encourages a hands-on approach and benefits from a major input by art museum and gallery professionals. Each module is taught intensively during a one-week period to help ease access for part-time students and gallery professionals. (See also the work-based MGPrac.) International Student Requirements:

Applicants whose first language is not English require IELTS 6.5 with 6.0 in writing, TOEFL 90 (Internet-based) or 577 (paper-based), or equivalent. INTO Newcastle University can provide extra tuition to help you meet our English language requirements.
