Modern information systems depend fundamentally on digital systems of communication and this program is responding to that particular speciality. Graduates may receive a Diploma (80 credits) or Master's (120 credits) Degree depending on the level of credit accumulation. Taught modules are assessed by examination (75%) and coursework (25%). The final module (100% coursework) is a project, which may be undertaken in the communications research groups at Loughborough, in industry or in a number of European institutions participating in EU exchange programs.
