Aims of the course This course aims to provide you with the latest thinking on global purchasing and supply practices and trends. Examining the strategic and tactical management of the supply chain, from supplier relationships to e-commerce solutions, you will gain the knowledge and skills to ensure that you have a direct impact on business success in this industry. The course will be of benefit to purchasing and supply practitioners from both the public and private sectors. It is also suitable for professionals wishing to move into this increasingly complex, rapidly changing sector. It is specifically designed to equip you with the right combination of technical and theoretical skills to appeal to employers across a range of sectors. A key feature of the course is the many regular presentations from guest speakers in industry and from professional institutes. This gives you valuable insights into current issues, ideas and best practice within the purchasing and supply chain industry. You also undertake industry visits and/or virtual online tours of organisations to give you real-world experience.
