Academic and practical teaching that covers: all aspects of orthodontics diagnosis and care including normal development; growth modification; fixed,functional and retainingapplicances and the biological principles of orthodontic tooth movement as well as multidisciplinary treatment involving orthognathic surgery and restorative dentistry. Participation in the related research programmes, including: laboratory materials investigations; clinical studies and biological investigations. Complies with the principles of Erasmus and supports the European Union directives on specialisation in orthodontics.
