Applicants must normally have completed at least six months as a staff nurse and possess a minimum second class honours degree (or equivalent). This is a shortened programme over eighteen months. You will study normal midwifery practice, complex midwifery and obstetric situations, organisation and models of care, health promotion, newborn care and assessment, principal methods for health care research and evidence based decision making in health care.
