The Division of Health and Social Care Research includes over 50 Principal Investigators College-wide, including the Florence Nightingale School of Nursing and Midwifery, the Medical School and the School of Social Science and Public Policy. The division reflects the disciplinary richness of the College as a whole, in spanning an exceptional academic range (from clinical strengths in primary care, public health, nursing and midwifery, to disciplinary expertise in management, health policy, gerontology, social work and social studies of science). The division aims to improve the quality of services and health and social outcomes through research relating to individual clinical and social needs, service delivery and organisation, and the wider social and policy context of care.
