Doctorate in Healthcare (Nursing)
The programme aims to promote advanced understanding of: philosophical and theoretical perspectives of healthcare; professional issues and their application to individual career portfolios; organisations and the practice of organisational development and its application in organisations and services; and advanced knowledge and skills to understand, design conduct and critically appraise quantitative and qualitative healthcare research. These aims are achieved through a taught component, comprising six modules and a research-based thesis as well as the many and varied learning opportunities afforded to students as members of a rich and established research environment.
