The programme develops a holistic understanding of the aetiology and clinical management of neurodevleopmental disorders across the lifespan, with a focus on the adult population. Includes a clinical placement for students to build their experience in a clinical environment as well as via teaching and research.
Students who complete the programme will: acquire a systematic understanding of theory, research and practice in neurodevelopmental disorders; develop a critical awareness of contemporary debates and current problems in the field; develop skills of independent learning, critical appraisal and research; apply these systematically in evaluating different forms of evidence; and apply the knowledge, understanding and skills gained to current and/or future specialist areas.
