Program Description:

Philosophy at Canterbury has a notable history. Sir Karl Popper, Arthur Prior, Michael Shorter, and Bob Stoothoff were once teachers in the department, and many of our past students have gone on to make excellent careers for themselves in the field of philosophy itself, including Jonathan Bennett, John Bigelow, Derek Browne, Robert Bull, Philip Catton, Ben Gibbs, Don Locke, Andrew Moore, Jim Thornton, and Nicole Wyatt.

Please note that international students only pay domestic fees for study at PhD level.
