Program Description:

This program trains students with an initial training in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Technology as specialists in innovation in Mathematics and Science Education, particularly in the use of Information and Communication Technology (ICT). This field is of high interest for professionals from countries in which the delivery of initial and further education is increasingly based on distance learning. In individual cases the program allows combining this with the study for a teaching degree. Of course, this has to be arranged in a combined effort with the home institutions. The program is designed for students who are or will be employed by a training institute or educational development centre. The program will be offered by the AMSTEL Institute, which is well known internationally for its innovative and leading work in this field. Educational software developed by the AMSTEL Institute has been translated into more then 15 languages and is distributed worldwide in a growing number of countries.
