The Executive Master of Science in Marketing (EMSM) is a one-year intensive program that provides students with the tools necessary to pursue careers in senior-level marketing and sales management, international market consulting, brand and product management, and marketing communications, tools that are sought after by multinational corporations, medium and small businesses, consulting firms, national and international non-profit organizations, and high-growth entrepreneurial ventures.
The program is affiliated with the Baruch College at the City University of New York. Students in the program get a degree accredited in the US by AACSB and by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools.
Courses are taught by the faculty of CUNY's Baruch College who travel to Paris for that purpose. The faculty at Baruch are known for blending innovative theories with real-world business applications.
In the program, students gain the skills necessary to develop new product strategies, pricing strategies, and advertising strategies as well as learn to enhance distribution, understand customer needs, and stay at the leading edge of industry.
AGSBE's emphasis is on group work and small class size. This enables students to work closely with faculty and peers who are rich in professional experience, and to form lifelong friendships and valuable business relationships.
The EMSM is an intensive program delivered in a flexible format. The program consists of three major course components: five core courses, four applied courses, and one capstone course (total 10 courses). The advanced courses build on the knowledge acquired in the five core courses.
The EMSM at AGS is accredited by AACSB.
