Accreditation:The Environmental and Atmospheric Sciences doctoral program, as well as the graduate school offering it, are registered and licensed by the Ministry of Education and Culture under the relevant Law of the Republic of Cyprus. The Research Center responsible for the program, EEWRC, is collaborating in research with MIT, Max Planck Institute for Chemistry, Germany, the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign, the Forschungszentrum Jülich, the University of Toronto, Canada, the University of Athens, Greece, and the Tel Aviv University, Israel.
International Student Requirements:To be considered for admission to a PhD Program, a student must have the following: •A Master's degree from a recognized accredited institution, with a strong academic record and background relevant to the proposed graduate-level studies. •Very good knowledge of the English Language (at least 6.5 IELTS or 570 TOEFL paper-based or 220 computer-based) or other accepted International Standard, if from school where English is not the teaching language. •Strong computational and analytical skills appropriate for the selected field of study. •General and Subject GRE test scores should be included in the application form.
