The primary objective of the Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) program is to develop specialists in applied toxicology by providing them with a workable knowledge of the priniciples of, and competence in, the field of toxicology as a supplement to their original area of expertise. The Master's and Doctoral programs, on the other hand, allow candidates to develop toxicology as their major area of expertise. A research project is not required for the PGD.
