Program Description:

The Masters of Law Program is offered through the College of Law by the University of Saskatchewan College of Graduate Studies. It is a full-time, residence program. A student is required to take at least 3 courses, one of which must be a legal theory course, and write a thesis. The thesis is written under regular supervision of a designated faculty member and, upon completion, is read by an appointed Advisory Committee. An oral examination before this Committee and an external examination is also required. The Program offers supervision focussing principally on Aboriginal Law, Commercial Law, Constitutional Law, Criminal Law, and Human Rights.
