The College of Pharmacy and Nutrition has the unique distinction in Canada of having both nutrition and pharmacy graduate programs in one home, and being one of six health science colleges at the same university. The resulting dynamic combination of programs, professionals and researchers provides an excellent environment for research and opportunities for interaction. Possible areas of study include: Integration and regulation of metabolism, stable isotope methodology, calcium-diet interactions, colonic metabolism, trace elements and pregnancy outcome, dietary assessment, body composition studies, older adult nutrition, diet and athletes, roles of community nutritionists and dietitians, food product development.
