Students completing their MBA at our downtown Toronto campus benefit from our alternating weekend format and may enhance it with the CPA or CFA® option. Students studying at our Waterloo campus can complete their MBA in a part-time evenings, or full-time format. Strong undergraduates can apply to the Co-op option to gain 8 months of work experience while pursuing their MBA. Eleven fields of specialization are offered within the elective requirement.
Innovation is a hallmark at Laurier. Laurier was the first Canadian MBA program to introduce an integrated method of teaching the core courses, and the first school to offer a full-time 1 year MBA. In 2006 we were the first English based Canadian university to combine MBA with CFA study, and began offering co-op in the full-time MBA. As well, our MBA students must complete a not-for-profit practicum emphasizing Laurier's focus on social justice.
