Program Description:

The Master of Physical Therapy (M.P.T.) is an entry-to-practice education credential that is for individuals who do not have a previous degree in physical therapy and/or for those individuals who are not eligible to practice in Canada with their current academic preparation. The Department of Physical Therapy at the University of Manitoba prepares generalist physical therapists with the knowledge, skills and attitudes required for entry into the profession. M.P.T. students: experience unparalleled support from the clinical community in Manitoba have access to state-of-the-art facilities for classroom and clinical teaching receive a broad exposure to many clinical practice settings Graduates demonstrate professional accountability and collaborative practice in diverse environments.
