Postgraduate Community Service Engineering
Are you an engineer with affinity for the social sector? Are you convinced that technology has an important leverage for more independence and a better quality of life for vulnerable groups in society? Then maybe the postgraduate course in Community Service Engineering might be just the right programme for you!
The course in Community Service Engineering consists in total of five course units.
There are four broadening course units with specific topics for the programme:
1.Vulnerable groups in society
2.Organizations in the social profit sector
3.Technology and the social profit
The fifth course unit project work is an advanced unit in which the learners are expected to integrate the knowledge, skills and attitudes that have been the subject of the broadening course units.
International Student Requirements:
Admission is based on evaluation of an application and an additional interview:
- One of the following master degrees, with the exception of achieving the credits for the Master's thesis:
o Masters of Engineering Technology,
o Masters of Bioengineering Technology,
o Masters of Industrial Sciences,
o Masters of Engineering,
o Masters of Engineering: Architects,
o BioScience Engineers,
o Business Engineers.
Candidates have to demonstrate a good command of English, CEFR B2 is advised.
