Master of International Relations
If you wish to study international relations out of interest and for career advancement in public, business, voluntary or political work, this degree has been designed for you.
The degree is designed to develop an understanding of the political, social, economic and legal processes and institutions of the international system. More than a degree: You'll learn from experts in Asian, European, American, African, Australian and Middle Eastern International Relations. Staff teaching in the MIR program are generally research active and include both established senior scholars with strong international profiles in the discipline as well as talented, rising academics investigating new areas including international organisations, policy, law and security in the contemporary period.
Essay-writing coaching is provided within the program, particularly for international students, and two postgraduate rooms are dedicated for the sole use of students.
In addition, social activities are organised to allow students to get to know each other.
