The Master of Commerce (Electronic Commerce) course focuses on the use, management, application and exploitation of computing and communications based technologies that make up the so-called information superhighway and examines the ways in which these technologies can be used to facilitate or enable business processes - in particular those processes involving local, regional and global information exchange between individuals, and within and between groups or organisations. Graduates of this course will be able to take leadership roles in the introduction of these Internet-based business and management practices into a wide variety of professional work-place situations.
