Australian Studies is an interdiscplinary program which may be taken at PhD or MPhil level. The Australian National University is one of the world's pre-eminent centres for research on Australia. The Program draws on staff from across the University including the Research Schools of Social Sciences and Pacific and Asian Studies, the Faculties of Arts and Asian Studies and the Institute of the Arts and makes use of the unparalleled research environment Canberra offers for the study of Australia (the National Library, the Australian National Gallery, the War Memorial, the Australian Archives, the National Museum and the National Film and Sound Archives.
