The University of Indianapolis, popularly known as UIndy, is a private, comprehensive and diverse institution of higher education located on nearly 50 acres just minutes from downtown Indianapolis. UIndy is distinguished by highly respected graduate programs in education, arts and sciences, business, nursing, behavioral science, and the health sciences, many of which are nationally ranked. Founded in 1902, UIndy has a home campus of more than 5,400 students and partnership sites around the world. Our University has over 40 graduate programs and both masters and doctoral level degrees.
The University of Indianapolis is regionally accredited through the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools under The Higher Learning Commission. Many individual programs also have individual programmatic accrediting bodies.
