About Us

EOU was founded in 1929 as a teachers college. Today, it serves as Oregon’s Rural University and a center for education, culture and scholarship. EOU guides student inquiry through high-quality liberal arts and professional programs leading to responsible and reflective action in a diverse, interconnected world.
