Rehabilitation counselors provide treatment through programs, one-on-one counseling, and group counseling. Rehabilitation counselors provide people facing a wide variety of challenges the support they need to live, work, and socialize effectively and independently.

        Rehabilitation Counseling Graduate Curriculum

        Many rehabilitation counseling graduate programs have cross-disciplinary curricula that provide students with an opportunity to gain an in-depth and extensive knowledge of counseling theory, practice, and application. In such programs, students typically complete core and elective courses, and depending on the program, may or may not have to complete an academic thesis or dissertation.
