ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
Graduate School Programs - Master's, Ph.D.
Students pursuing degrees in economic development will not only be engaging in a rigorous curriculum of study , but they will also be preparing themselves for a future whose work will be of incalculable help to their communities and to communities whose full potential has not yet been realized. Typical curricula include such diverse classes as conflict management, economic planning, leadership studies, the economics of agricultural development, and resource policy, among many others. The course work is both interesting and demanding, but the result of all the hard work will be a world that is better able to handle the challenges that comes its way, and one that provides a more equal base of opportunity for all, whether they are from developing countries or powerful nations.
