About the field of Biology (Ecology): Ecology focuses on the science of relationships between organisms and their environments, as well as the effects of civilization on the environment. It is an interdisciplinary field that touches on biology, physiology, anthropology, geography and the humanities. Students will explore current ecological methods, theories, concepts, controversies and applications. They will collect, monitor, record, analyze and present data, as well as identify plants and animals.
