BIOMEDICAL ENGINEERING
Graduate School Programs - Master's, Ph.D.
Biomedical engineers work at the crossroads of technology and medicine, and therefore study and perform research and laboratory work in both fields. The work of biomedical engineers includes tissue engineering, pharmaceutical development, and the design of new technologies for use in invasive and non-invasive medical procedures. Coursework is rigorous and often challenging, but the possibilities are limited only by the practitioner's imagination.
