Program Description:

This is a 2-year UCL international Masters programme, with the first year based at University College London and the second year based at Yale, New Haven. The focus is on integrating neuro-cognitive approaches with psychoanalytic theory in the context of developmental psychopathology. Students cover psychoanalytic theory, developmental psychopathology, introductory neuroscience, and research methods in the first year in London, and then undertake a major research project at Yale University, based at the Child Study Centre, during their second year. While at Yale students also attend advanced neuroscience courses.
