Program Description:
For over 100 years, the Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies has prepared students for important positions of environmental leadership in the United States and throughout the world. Graduates of this interdisciplinary program assume influential roles in government, business, non-governmental organizations, public and international affairs, research and education. The school offers master's degrees in environmental management (MEM), environmental science (MESc), forestry (MF), forest science (MFS), as well as a one year master's degree (MEM and MF) for experienced environmental professionals. Joint master+s degrees can be pursued at Yale in management, law, public health, international relations, developmental economics, and divinity. Joint programs are also established with Pace Law School and Vermont Law School. In addition, students have the opportunity to continue their studies through the Graduate School of Arts & Sciences (Ph.D.) or within the School of Forestry and Environmental Studies (Doctor of Forestry & Environmental Studies DFES).
