Program Description:

The Master of Arts in Public Policy and International Affairs at William Paterson University is designed to prepare those working in the public, non-profit and private sectors with the skills and knowledge to become effective innovators and problem solvers in the global environment of the twenty-first century. This is accomplished through a unique curriculum that integrates course content from the interpersonal to the international levels. The University's Department of Political Science program will prepare its graduates to work in a variety of settings--in government and non-profit agencies, education, business, law and social service--or to pursue further graduate studies. This is a 30-credit program which culminates in a capstone project/thesis. Internships in a variety of public, non-profit, international, and corporate settings are available. Opportunities are also available through the program for short and medium-term intensive study abroad.
