As a leader in early career MBA education, Willamette's Full-time MBA is designed to prepare students for their first professional position or career change in business, government or not-for-profit management. In just 21 months, students learn the core principles of management; build a strong foundation in the political, regulatory and fiscal issues of the public sector; refine their career interests; develop an in-depth understanding of one or more curricular areas of interest; and build the portfolio needed to succeed in a competitive job market. The learning experience is built on a proven model that emphasizes excellent teaching and learning by doing. Internships, class consulting projects, in-depth case studies, the Student Investment Fund, the PACE program (where teams of students serve as consultants for non-profit organizations), opportunities to work with the Willamette University Public Policy Research Center, and a complete program of career services offer powerful opportunities for professional development.
