Program Description:
The Doctor of Missiology (D.Miss.) is an advanced professional degree intended to aid in the development of leadership for the worldwide Church. The program is designed specifically for people faced with the challenge of socio-cultural changes who are serving abroad cross-culturally, as well as for those who work among ethnic groups locally or who reach out to post-modernist / pluralist / generation X. Participation of mature and experienced church leaders from Asia, Africa, and Latin America ensures cross-fertilization of perspectives and spiritual insights between North Americans and those from abroad.
The Doctor of Missiology is an accredited degree program of ATS (Association of Theological Schools of US & Canada) and NWCCU (Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities). All classes are small, allowing personal interaction between professors and students, fostering an atmosphere beneficial for ministry mentoring. During the program students will acquire professional training, including advanced research skills and tools to teach at the post-graduate level.
